In June 2019, Wells For Hope hosted our first three fundraising presentations on the water situation in Igbesa. We encouraged audience members to support the impoverished communities in Nigeria by donating to improve the water situation.

We gave the audience an informational presentation—a slideshow with pictures and infographics—regarding the current living situations of the townspeople of Igbesa Village and a clear call to action: donate money to help construct wells.

The presentation was effective; we successfully raised funds enough to donate our first two wells.

 

Later that year, we traveled to Nigeria to personally observe the construction of the two wells.
