4/23/24 — Port Harcourt, Rivers State

 

On April 23, 2024, a new Wells for Hope solar-powered well began serving the Stella Maris community in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Roughly 1,000 students, faculty, and staff can now access clean water directly on campus. Knights of St. Mulumba (KSM) managed the engineering and construction and documented the final commissioning. The project completed our first group of four wells with KSM and brought Wells for Hope’s total number of completed wells across Nigeria to eight.
