6/9/25 — Dangara, Abuja
On June 9, 2025, Wells for Hope completed a solar-powered well at Government Secondary School Dangara in Abuja’s Kwali Area Council. The school serves roughly 680 students, including both day and boarding students, making reliable water access especially important on campus. Knights of St. Mulumba (KSM) handled the construction and installation. The new well gives students and staff a dependable source of clean water directly on school grounds.
10/2/25 — Effurun, Delta State
On October 2, 2025, Wells for Hope completed a solar-powered industrial well serving the Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun community in Delta State. Charterhouse Lagos joined us in funding the project, while Knights of St. Mulumba (KSM) carried out construction. Its larger capacity makes it better suited to the demands of a university community than a standard borehole. KSM documented the completed project through photographs shared with our team.
10/2/25 — Zuturun, Kaduna State
Wells for Hope completed a solar-powered well for the Zuturun community in the Mago Area of Zangon-Kataf Local Government Area, Kaduna State, on October 2, 2025. Charterhouse Lagos joined us in funding the project, while Knights of St. Mulumba (KSM) carried out construction. In this part of northern Nigeria, many communities still face limited access to dependable clean water. The new well gives local families a reliable source much closer to where they live.
10/2/25 — Nimo, Anambra State
Also completed on October 2, 2025, this solar-powered well was built at the Ojideleke Civic Centre in Nimo, Anambra State. Wells for Hope and Charterhouse Lagos jointly funded the project, with Knights of St. Mulumba (KSM) overseeing the build. Its location at the civic centre places clean water at a central point where residents already gather and spend time. The project also continued our expanding partnership with KSM across communities in Nigeria.
